The story centers around a teen-celebrity-like blonde-haired girl named Panty and a black-haired Goth Loli girl named Stocking. The two are angels sent from the heavens to battle the Ghosts on Earth. Categories Action Action anime usually involve a fairly straightforward story of good guys versus bad guys, where most disputes are resolved by using physical force. Seinen A subset of anime or manga that is generally targeted at a 18 - 25 year old male audience, but the audience can be much older with some manga aimed at businessmen well into their 40s. Every anime has to have them, episodes in which the characters for whatever reason end up going to the sea, ocean, random island or the local pond.

A large amount of quick dialogues and much slapstick violence move the plot forward at a reckless pace.
All this can be hilarious, but may also make the anime hard to follow and potentially annoying after some time. fallen angel no description set yet fighting girls The female part of the cast actually does all the fighting, typical of any mahou shoujo (Magical Girl) anime. general lack of common sense Often a desired backdrop to many anime-comedy series, where most happenings are fast paced and senseless for the pure comical enjoyment of viewers.
The lacking of common sense describes a conflicting existence to which some or many people don`t share the majority`s general knowledge of all things, all possible actions and all the logical results of those actions.
In spite of a character`s intelligence (although senselessness may suggest some may be lacking average knowledge), most instances receive illogical results or the events themselves are illogical, therefore the events make just as little sense as the results to follow. girls with guns From pistols and sniper rifles to fully automatic machine guns and grenade launchers - some or many of the female characters have selected guns as their weapon of choice, and they`re not afraid to prove it. girls with swords Female characters with various swords as their main weapon of choice. Although the size and shape of the blade is often unique and even drastically over-sized, the wielder is almost always free from extra restraint it would be thought to inflict upon them. gothic lolita A fashion style. gotta catch `em all A typical plot or sub-plot for many shows. Either the cast or somebody else, that being often the main antagonist, embarks on a quest to collect things, shiny things. Things that are said to grant simple wishes or even do miracles like bringing people back to life, destroying the whole world, galaxy, universe and in rare cases turning the hero into the greatest Pokemon Master. Those things can be weapons, lost technology, magical artefacts, pieces of a giant magical artefact and in some cases even people or little critters.
The point is, there`s stuff to collect! great OP and ED The OP (opening) and ED (ending) sequences contain a strong sense of effort toward impressively utilizing visuals, instrumentals and vocals to captivate an audience.
This has nothing to do with any karaoke effects and styling individual subbers may have added. great soundtrack The anime soundtrack is noteworthy. henshin Japanese for "transformation" (metamorphosis or disguise).
A "henshin anime" is any anime, where the characters or their costumes transform, such as Sailor Moon. The henshin switches on the character`s special powers, and is frequently accompanied by a costume change. Often the change of clothing is the only outward indicator that the character has changed and yet nobody seems to notice the hero`s true self.
Most henshin heroes have a special item which they use to change into their heroic form. These items are usually activated by a command phrase (which is often in Engrish, for some reason), triggering a transformation sequence. improbable physics The physics in this anime have little to do with real-world physics, and are actually very much exaggerated.
Examples: Cars hitting a tiny obstacle, but then flying through the air for no apparent reason, or flimsy bullets slamming heavy characters clear across the room. nopan At least one of the characters appears in the anime bereft of panties. police are useless The civilian law enforcement representatives do not seem to be of much use, when trying to take on the usually vastly superior foes.
The "helpless" and often clumsy antics of the police can be used as a comedy element. powerpuff girls for adults Ever wondered what it would be like if Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup grew up to be hoebags? psychological realism no description set yet racial stereotypes different races of people with typical personalities who all possess overused features, styles or distorted physical features that follow a long running trend that corresponds to a given race. to watch or not to watch Anime prompting any `normal` person to ask "Why am I even watching this?".
It may be due to certain sexual scenarios, illogical circumstances, plot complexity, or maybe even the plain stupidity of the anime. toilet humour Everything leads back to poo. transforming weapons This anime features transforming weapons, this can either be cars or household appliances that transform into weapons, such as transformers or weapons that themselves transform into bigger badder shapes to deal more and more damage. vulgar at times Dialogues turn from banal daily trivia to vulgar adult (usually sexual) themes. Could also be applied to the actions of the characters, e.g. "mooning".
