The somewhat precocious and sadistic girl Mitsuba, the somewhat lecherous muscle girl Futaba, and the somewhat mysterious girl Hitoha. Better known as the (mischievous) Marui Sisters, this is the story of how these three triplets go about their days in Class 6-3 with their cute yet wild antics. Comedy Anime whose central struggle causes hilarious results. These stories are built upon funny characters, situations and events. A comedy anime is laced with humour and sets out to provoke laughter from the audience.

Japanese humour can be a bit strange to westerners, so if you`re new to this type of humour, just bear with it; it`ll most likely grow on you if you`re a fan of other kinds of comedy. Ecchi Ecchi, or etchi (エッチ), is a common Japanese word meaning "indecent", "lewd", "frisky" or "sexy", while its usage can be compared to the word "naughty". The term is used when vague sexual content, such as skimpy clothing or nudity, is prominent. Elementary School The primary education (compulsory in Japan) covers the first six grades. The students are typically six to twelve years old.

The small size and energetic / playful attics of the young students make the comedic appeal and cuteness of super deformed "older" characters superfluous. Parody Anime that imitate other stories (can be from TV, film, books, historical events, ...) for comic effect by exaggerating the style and changing the content of the original. Also known as spoofs. It can also refer to when whole elements of one work are lifted out of their context and reused. Romance Romance describes a story that deals with love between two or more characters typically also having an optimistic ending. School Life Since a large part of the anime audience still takes part in school life or is visiting college, it is only natural to choose a setting the audience can identify with, be it elementary, middle, or high school. For the older viewers a college setting with more mature real-life problems is appropriate. And since clubs take up so much time in the lives of students, these are obviously also important. Shounen A style of anime and manga intended for boys, characterized by high-action, often humorous plots featuring male protagonists. The camaraderie between boys or men on sports teams, fighting squads, etc. is often emphasized. Unrealistically attractive female characters are also common (see fanservice), but are not a requirement. The art style of shounen also tends to be less flowery than that of shoujo. Slapstick Slapstick humour is generally recognized by lots of physical abuse, horseplay and practical jokes. Also often seen are impossible situations, using sounds to illustrate impossible stunts that aren`t shown on-screen and to create tension for audience anticipation. All this can be hilarious, but may also make the anime hard to follow and potentially annoying after some time. general lack of common sense Often a desired backdrop to many anime-comedy series, where most happenings are fast paced and senseless for the pure comical enjoyment of viewers.

The lacking of common sense describes a conflicting existence to which some or many people don`t share the majority`s general knowledge of all things, all possible actions and all the logical results of those actions.

In spite of a character`s intelligence (although senselessness may suggest some may be lacking average knowledge), most instances receive illogical results or the events themselves are illogical, therefore the events make just as little sense as the results to follow. hamster no description set yet innocent violence Hitting someone really hard without malicious intent. klutz As part of the slapstick comedy in anime there often is a character (usually female), who is particularly clumsy, i.e. tripping, bumping into objects, or dropping things. This lack of physical coordination is thought of as endearing. legendary klutz If klutz just is not enough to describe the clumsiness of a character. The relating character trips over nothing and bumps into everything else, creating lots of chaos in his/her surroundings. pedobear approved In short: a lolicon term, typically consisting of fanservice delights involving what would normally be considered under age characters.

Descriptive of under age girls who appear or act older than they really are; and thus, even with this knowledge in mind, some may still have feelings of wanting to steal them away and use them as one might someone of legal age.

If there existed a paedophile disguised in a bear suit, these kids wouldn`t stand a chance. sadism Some of the characters show a preference to sadistic behaviour, i.e. they like to see others suffer, especially by their own hands.

Example: Sadistic female combat androids ("Saber Marionette R"). scary loli It`s not that you think she`ll kill you - you don`t, but just to be safe, you don`t really want to alone with her in a dark room, or a lit room (and whatever you do, don`t let her play with knives or dolls). slice of life Follows everyday life of ordinary people - science fiction and fantasy included, as ordinary refers to what is considered normal for the story. The story may focus more on the relationships and interactions between the characters and less on plot continuity. urine trouble Panty wetting, wet oneself, losing bladder control, leaking, watersports, golden showers.

In other words, urination that`s often but not always used as a sexual/fetish element.
