A bundled extra in the limited edition of 11th Mirai Nikki (Future Diary) manga volume. High school 2nd year, Amano Yukiteru, is a boy who has problem making friends. He thinks of himself as a bystander and will always write down everything he sees in a cell phone diary. Tormented by solitude, Yukiteru began to imagine things like a friend called Deus Ex Machina who is apparently the Lord of Time & Space. Seeing Yukiteru's miserable state, Deus gives him a new ability. His diary will now record events that will happen in the near future. Yukiteru is then forced to participate in a game which the winner will become Deus's successor.

Unrealistically attractive female characters are also common (see fanservice), but are not a requirement. The art style of shounen also tends to be less flowery than that of shoujo. A person that does not fit in society.

They typically look slightly high or depressed and they are usually alone most the time. Some are alone because they are too snobbish and see themselves above everyone else. Others are alone because they want to be.

They are usually the victims of every negative stereotype and rumour. Some might even be called "freaks". stalker Someone that follows or observes (a person) persistently, especially out of obsession or derangement. supernatural Things happen in this anime that seem to be beyond nature or physical laws.

Examples: Ghosts, vampires, monsters, telepathy, telekinesis, etc. survival The act or process of surviving. A living or continuing longer than, or beyond the existence of, another person, thing, or event; an outliving. twisted no description set yet twisted love no description set yet yandere A character trait involving a personality initially loving and gentle that becomes psychotic or deranged, often brutally so.
