Based on a manga by Esuno Sakae, serialised in Shounen Ace.Yukiteru always rejected any offers to go with friends and just keeps writing a diary on his cell phone. He has what he believes is an imaginary friend called Deus Ex Machina. However, one day Deus asks him to play a survival game along with eleven others. The winner becomes the next Deus Ex Machina. In order to win, the contestants must use their diaries of the future to eliminate one another. For Yukiteru to survive, he must team up with another diary holder, a girl named Yuno.

The camaraderie between boys or men on sports teams, fighting squads, etc. is often emphasized. Unrealistically attractive female characters are also common (see fanservice), but are not a requirement. The art style of shounen also tends to be less flowery than that of shoujo.

A person that does not fit in society.

They typically look slightly high or depressed and they are usually alone most the time. Some are alone because they are too snobbish and see themselves above everyone else. Others are alone because they want to be.

They are usually the victims of every negative stereotype and rumour. Some might even be called “freaks”. stalker Someone that follows or observes (a person) persistently, especially out of obsession or derangement. supernatural Things happen in this anime that seem to be beyond nature or physical laws.

Examples: Ghosts, vampires, monsters, telepathy, telekinesis, etc. survival The act or process of surviving. A living or continuing longer than, or beyond the existence of, another person, thing, or event; an outliving. twisted The world and the people in it just should not work this way. Morality, normal emotions and common sense have little place here.

This is not simply off-the-wall wacky, rather some of the actions and events in this anime are just plain wrong! twisted love no description set yet yandere A character trait involving a personality initially loving and gentle that becomes psychotic or deranged, often brutally so.
