The YouTube website's Enterbrain TV channel has begun streaming a six-minute promotional video for Bungaku Shoujo Memoire I, II, and III — the three original anime DVDs that tell short side stories about three heroines from the Bungaku Shoujo franchise. Like the upcoming anime film adaptation, these DVDs are based on Mizuki Nomura's "Bungaku Shōjo" ("A literary girl") light novel series about the unusual members of a high school literary club. The first DVD, Bungaku Shoujo Memoire I -Yume-Miru Shoujo no Prelude-, will ship on June 25.

Original Work: Novel Note that novel means book with words in paper, so no comics and no "visual novels", which should go under manga and dating-sim - visual Novel/erotic game respectively.

Note that it can be applied to novels as we know them but also the typical light novels for teens and young adults, which are common in Japan and aside from being short include a number of illustrations. Shoujo A style of anime and manga intended for girls which may have some crossover appeal to boys as well.
