They are often the type everyone looks up to... too bad she (or he) has a strong negative side hiding under that shiny shell of complexion perfection. whipped male protagonist More often than not the male protagonist finds himself overwhelmed by the females of the show. He may be treated as a boy toy, servant or just plain inferior. This may or may not include physical abuse. For one or several reasons, he is at a disadvantage when dealing with the opposite sex. zettai ryouiki Japanese for "absolute area", and refers to an area of bare skin on the legs between a skirt and knee- or thigh-high stockings.
